Congratulations; you’ve taken the first step. Newport Mental Health is dedicated to your well-being and we know that recovery is possible for you.
We believe that recovery is a collaborative journey; one that focuses on your needs and lifestyle. Our team of therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff work together to help you determine your unique path of recovery.
We help you from the moment you walk in. If you require additional support or services, we coordinate with area partner agencies to get you the personalized care you deserve.
Visit Newport Mental Health during walk-in hours for your initial appointment with a caring clinician. Walk-in hours are 9:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday. Adults and children/teens are seen at 42 Valley Road, Middletown.

What to Bring to Your Visit
- Photo ID (Passport, Driver’s License, RI State ID, Birth Certificate, or other form of identification)
- Health insurance card
If you are uninsured, please bring one of the following:
- Two pay stubs or two bank statements showing your electronic pay deposits
- Most recent federal tax return
- Military leave and earnings statement (LES)
